Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to survey and demarcate the boundary of the petitioner's property in respect of the land admeasuring an extent of 2 Grounds and 675 S.ft. which is comprising in S.No. 127/1B(Part), T.S.No.22, of Block No.49 of Villivakkam Village, of the Aringnar Anna Nagar Scheme with splay of 10 ft on the south western corner, now bearing Plot No.1210, Z Block, 13th Street, 6th Avenue (inner plot), Anna Nagar, Chennai 600 040 within the sub-registration District and registration District of Chennai Central based on the representation dated 26.05.2022 and issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner within the time frame as fixed by this Honourable Court. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to survey and demarcate the boundary of the petitioner's property in respect of the land admeasuring an extent of 2 grounds and 675 sq.ft. which is comprising in S.No. 127/1B(Part), T.S.No.22, of Block No.49 of Villivakkam Village, of the Aringnar Anna Nagar Scheme with splay of 10 feet on the South Western corner, now https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
bearing Plot No.1210, Z Block, 13th Street, 6th Avenue (inner plot), Anna Nagar, Chennai 600 040, within the subregistration District and registration District of Chennai Central based on the representation dated 26.05.2022 and issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner within the time frame as fixed by this Court.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made representation dated 26.05.2022 to the respondent seeking to survey and demarcate the boundary of the petitioner's property and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.05.2022 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.05.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
