2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking for following prayer:- For issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the Arbitration Petition pending on his file by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that aggrieved by the compensation determined by the Competent Authority, the petitioner filed an Arbitration Petition before the first respondent seeking for enhancement of compensation, since the said Petition has been kept pending, the petitioner made a representation dated 07.02.2026 to consider the 2/5
Arbitration Petition and to pass Arbitration Award, however, since the same evoked no response, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing this Writ Petition seeking for the aforementioned relief. It is further submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to dispose of the Arbitration Petition pending before him within a stipulated time.
4. Learned Government Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of respondents 1, 2 and 4 has submitted that the Arbitration Petition filed by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law by the first respondent within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner in the Writ Petition is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's Arbitration Petition in a time bound manner. 3/5

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the Arbitration Petition filed by the petitioner which was later followed by a reminder representation dated 07.02.2026 and dispose of the same by passing an Arbitration Award as early as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
