ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of appointment dated 08.10.2024, thereby appointing the fourth respondent as Homeopathy Medical Officer.
2.The case of the petitioner is that a notification for recruitment to various posts was issued by the first respondent. The petitioner applied for the post of Medical Officer, however, she was not selected. Now the petitioner challenges the appointment of the fourth respondent on the ground that the entire selection process was wrong and further, the notification did not speak about the marks to be allotted under various heads.
3.After having participated in the selection process and having been
3/5 unsuccessful in the selection process, the petitioner cannot now question the very notification. Except challenging the procedure as mentioned in the notification, the petitioner does not have any other ground to challenge the selection of the fourth respondent as Medical Officer. That apart, the fourth respondent has secured higher marks than the petitioner and has been rightly selected for the post. Therefore, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the selection of the fourth respondent and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be set aside.
4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
