detention order dated 26.05.2022 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings Memo C.M.P.No.49/Goonda/Salem City/2022 quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the respondent herein to produce the petitioners husband namely GUNASEKARAN ALIAS KETHAI SEKAR S/O.MOHAN AGED 40 YEARS before this Honble Court and set the petitioners husband at Liberty from detention now the petitioners husband detained at Central Prison, Salem.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo C.M.P.No.49/Goonda/Salem City/2022 dated 26.05.2022 detaining her husband as "Goonda" under Section 2 (f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.4273, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) department, dated 11.07.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
