O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 22.08.2015 vide CSR No.529 of 2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent for the offences 294(b), 506(i) of IPC R/w Sec.4 of Woman's Harassment Act and Sec.4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act and Expedite the investigation within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.529 of 2015 before the second respondent and he further submitted that the petitioner is not co-operating with the enquiry.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry and the respondent police is also directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
