Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the second respondent in Rc.No.C2/10883/2020 dated 25.06.2020 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Velu, Son of Anjapuli, aged about 47 years, now detained as Goonda at Cuddalore Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by V.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Rc.No.C2/10883/2020 dated 25.06.2020, detaining his father as "Goonda" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3669, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 04.09.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
