The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to effect mutation of the revenue records in respect of the
property in Survey No.260/1A - 14.66 cents out of 39.66 cents at Gerugambakkam Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, by issuing sub division patta in favour of petitioner as sought for in the application for sub division patta transfer under Application No.2022/0105/03/357644 dated 07.04.2022. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the subject properties and he made application dated 07.04.2022 to the respondents seeking sub division patta in his favour and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 07.04.2022 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 07.04.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
