O R D E R
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 379 and 511 of IPC, in Crime No.510 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had attempted to commit theft of the Village Panchayat pipe.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is an habitual offender and his modus operandi is to commit theft of motors from the Village Panchayat. He would further submit that there are four previous cases pending against the petitioner which are of similar nature and one hurt case is also pending. Therefore, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the nature of the offence committed by the petitioner and that the antecedents of the petitioner is reported to be bad, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
