Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2019 with regard to issuance of patta to the petitioner's property situated at No.128, Arumandai Village, Sholavaram, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, comprised in Survey No.104/04, measuring an extent of 0.05 cents. Mr.V.Prabhu, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the third respondent to consider his representation dated 07.03.2019, wherein and whereby, he sought for issuance of patta in his favour in respect of the property situated at No.128, Arumandai Village, Sholavaram, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, comprised in Survey No.104/04, measuring an extent of 0.05 cents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

It is stated that the petitioner has purchased the subject matter property on 06.07.2006 vide sale deed Document No.5273/2006 and from the date of purchase, he is in possession and enjoyment of the same. It is further stated that the petitioner made a representation on 07.03.2019 to the respondents seeking for issuance of patta. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far. Hence, the present writ petition is filed before this Court with the relief as state supra.

5. This Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.03.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
