(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.Senthil, learned counsel for the applicants; Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1, 3 and 4 and, Mrs.C.Shyamala, learned counsel for the second respondent.
2. It is submitted that the original writ petitioner had died during the pendency of the writ petitions. As the legal heirship certificate could not be obtained, the factum of the death of the original writ petitioner was not intimated before the learned Single Judge during the pendency of the writ proceedings. Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the present writ petitions were also decided along with a batch of writ petitions under a common judgment. The other appeals are also filed and are pending.
3. In the light of the above, we permit the change in the cause-title of the applicants only for the purpose of prosecuting the present appeals.
