Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this court that while pending this petition, the petitioner has also filed a petition for bail before the trial court. But, suppressing the said fact, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed before this court. Therefore, this Court is inclined to dismiss this Criminal Original Petition with a cost of Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) payable to the Legal Services Authority, Chennai. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
