O.P.No.888 of 2016: Original Petition under Section 34(2)(a) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 praying to set aside the arbitration award dated 11.07.2016 in A.C.P.No.(EF/CAR) 225/2016 in respect of Agreement No.SLYU2TF1209280001 for a sum of Rs.17,46,545/- passed against the petitioners.

Mr.K.V.Ananthakrishnan in both O.Ps C O M M O N O R D E R It appears that on 25.10.2016 in A.No.5498 of 2016 in O.P.No.769 of 2016, this Court directed the petitioners to deposit the sum of Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees seven lakhs only) for grant of stay. However, it is seen that the same has not been complied with, despite an extension being granted on 14.12.2016. Therefore, the stay petition stands dismissed.

2. When both O.Ps were called on 09.01.2020, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners and this Court had directed the matters to be listed under the caption "for dismissal". Today, when the matters are called, there is no representation for the petitioners either in person or through counsel. Therefore, these Original Petitions are dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
