Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the Review Petition of the petitioner dated 29.05.2017 praying to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for the year 2014-2015 and to promote her as Deputy Tahsildar from the date on which her junior Mrs.G.Shanthi was promoted as Deputy Tahsildar.

O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the Review Petition of the petitioner dated 29.05.2017 praying to include her name in the panel for the year 2014-2015 and to promote her as Deputy Tahsildar from the date on which her junior Mrs.G.Shanthi was promoted as Deputy Tahsildar.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The learned Additional Government Pleader would state that six weeks time may be granted to dispose of the Review Petition of the petitioner by the 1st respondent. 4.

In view of the limited prayer made in the writ petition and also considering the request made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the 1st respondent to dispose of the Review Petition of the petitioner dated 29.05.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs.
