ORDER

The petitioner is the wife of the respondent. She has filed M.C. No.94 of 2025 on the file of the Family Court, Salem, seeking a direction to the

respondent to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- per month towards maintenance and a sum of Rs.15,000/- towards litigation expenses.

2. Thereafter, the respondent filed F.C.O.P. No.28 of 2026. The petitioner has to travel nearly 60 kilometres to attend the Court proceedings and is dependent upon her aged parents. Therefore, considering the inconvenience caused to the petitioner, F.C.O.P. No.28 of 2026 is ordered to be transferred to the file of the Family Court, Salem. The petitioner is permitted to appear through video conferencing and shall appear before the Court in person as and when required.

3. On receipt of the records and after taking the case on file, the transferee Court is directed to issue notice to both parties and proceed with the matter in accordance with law.

4. This Transfer Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 22-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MPA
