ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 21.07.2015 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2.The petitioner has given a complaint with the 1st respondent on 21.07.2015 as against one Chandra on the allegation that she cut and removed Karuvela trees from the land of the petitioner. Though the said complaint was received by the 1st respondent, no action was taken by the respondentsPolice till date. petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court passes the following order:- The 1st respondent-Police is direct to hold an enquiry on the complaint dated 21.07.2015 given by the petitioner and if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, the 1st respondent-Police shall proceed in according with law, as early as possible.

With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
