Vs The Tahsildar, Perundhurai Taluk, Perundhurai, Erode District ..Respondent Prayer : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent, the lawful authority, to identify the petitioner's property, the punja land measuring 10.50 Ares comprised in S.No.805/13, 7.50 Ares comprised in S.No.805/15, 8 Acres comprised in S.No.805/16 and 3 Ares comprised in S.No.805/8 of Perundhurai Village and Taluk, Erode District, to demarcate its boundaries within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Heard Mr. P.Johnson, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to identify the petitioners property by demarcating the boundaries. According to the petitioners all of them have been granted patta on 26.12.2011. However, it is a joint patta and the area has not been demarcated and boundary stones have not been fixed.

3. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioners contention, there shall be direction to the petitioners to submit a fresh representation to the respondent along with the copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent shall consider the petitioners representation, after notice to the petitioners and neighbouring land owners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of a order.

4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
