Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to accept the surrender of allotment of seat allotted to the petitioner in P.G.Medical Course in M.S.Ophthalmology in Self-financing Medical College without joining the course based on the representation submitted by the petitioner through Email on 29.08.2020, without insisting any discontinuation fee for penalty/debarment for future admission. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to accept the surrender of allotment of seat allotted to the petitioner in P.G.Medical https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Course in M.S.Ophthalmology in Self-financing Medical College, without joining the course based on the representation submitted by the petitioner through Email on 29.08.2020, without insisting any discontinuation fee for penalty/debarment for future admission.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Abdul Saleem, learned standing counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the seat that was surrendered by the petitioner, had been allotted to some other candidate. In view of the same, the penalty/debarment will not be put against the petitioner.
3. Recording the above submission of the learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
