Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to dispose petitioner's my subdivision patta transfer applications made online vide application Nos. 2020/0105/07/258898 and 2020/0105/07/258902 dated 30.01.2020 and consequently issue patta in favour of the petitioner at the earliest point of time as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

On the consent given by either side, the main writ petition itself has been taken up for final hearing.

2. This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 30.01.2020 and pass appropriate orders within the time frame fixed by this Court.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta in his favour based on the registered settlement deed executed in his favour on 15.07.2019.

4. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, based on the written instructions received from the third respondent, submitted that the enquiry has been fixed on 11.09.2020 and the petitioner can be present during the enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the third respondent has already called the petitioner for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to take appropriate decision strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
