In view of the prayer sought for in this petition, I am of the view that no notice is necessary for the respondent.

2. The petitioner, who is the husband of the respondent, filed I.D.O.P.No.53 of 2014 on the file of the District Sessions Court II, Kancheepuram for decree of divorce.

3. The respondent/wife filed I.D.O.P.No.141 of 2014 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur for decree of divorce.

4. In these circumstances, the petitioner filed this petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure to transfer I.D.O.P.No.53 of 2014 from the file of District Sessions Court II, Kancheepuram to the Principal District Court at Tiruvallur so as to try both cases together.

5. I am of the view that transfer would not cause any prejudice to the respondent and in fact, it will be convenient for her. Hence, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as prayed for. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
