ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) Mr. P.S. Sivashanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself. The instant petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue Community Certificate to the petitioner as per his representation dated 10.04.2015.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has made an application on 14.08.2014 for issuance of Backward Class Hindu Vannar community certificate, along with relevant documents, including the certificate issued by the community association.

4 The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that appropriate decision, on proper verification of the documents and also on conducting enquiry, will be taken within a period of eight weeks.

In view of the foregoing, without going into the merits of the case, we direct the second respondent to examine the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2015, if any, along with the documents, after proper enquiry, as required under the provisions of law and take a final decision on the petitioner's application dated 14.08.2014 and issue necessary certificate to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. Costs made easy.
