ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.2056 of 2016 before the jurisdictional Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the investigation in this case is almost completed and within a period of two weeks final report will be filed.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.2056 of 2016 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This two weeks period is only an outer limit.
