The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to fix the seniority on par with the 1st batch based on the marks secured by the petitioner in the Police training college as per Rule by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 20.09.2017 within a reasonable time.
2. Learned counsel for the writ petitioner made a submission that during the pendancy of the writ petition, the grievance of the writ petitioner was redressed and the proposal has been submitted by the Director General of Police to the Government. If any such proposal is submitted, the same is to be considered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
by the first respondent on merits and in accordance with law. This being the factum now placed before this court, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 20.09.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law at the earliest as possible to enable the writ petitioner to redress his grievance.
3. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
