ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.The petitioner who is a teacher working in the Government Middle School. He submits that someone had lodged a complaint against him before the respondent police and it was taken on file in CSR.No.251/2021 dt.22.06.2021. Based on the said complaint, the petitioner is called for enquiry. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the direction passed by this Court, he had appeared before the Investigating Officer on 12.07.2021 and 13.07.2021 and he was informed that they will call him at a later point of time for enquiry. He further submits that if at all any enquiry to be conducted, the petitioner can be summoned under due process of law.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent submits that he has not appeared for enquiry before the Investigating Officer.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to proceed with the investigation and not to exert pressure on the petitioner, for any settlement, thereby causing harassment.

6.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
