[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant 10 days emergency leave by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2021 and release her husband Mohandoss, son of Perumalnaidu, aged about 65 years, C.T.No.3686, now confined in Central Prison, Vellore. 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that her husband Mohandoss, son of Perumalnaidu, is a Convict Prisoner (C.T.No.3686) and a representation dated 29.06.2021 was given to the prison authorities seeking emergency leave. Since no action was taken on the said application, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition seeking above prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Today, when this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the representation dated 29.06.2021 was received by the prison authorities on 02.07.2021 and the same was considered and rejected by order dated 09.07.2021. He further submitted that a copy of the said order has been served on the petitioner as well as on the convict prisoner.

Recording the same, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 09.07.2021, if so advised. No costs.
