(1) The writ petition has been filed questioning the authority of the 4th respondent to hold the post of Chief Executive Officer, Puducherry Khadi, and Village Industries Department, at Puducherry. (2) Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Union Territory of Puducherry, informed the Court that the 4th respondent had attained an untimely death on 07.09.2020. (3) In view of that particular fact, the issue raised in the writ petition cannot be adjudicated by this Court.

(4) Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
