ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 406, 420 of I.P.C in Crime No.58 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant is that during pandemic period he contacted his friends and neighbours who are having cars and asked them to hire their cars for providing medical facilities to corona patients. In the said process a car bearing Registration No.PY 01 Z5 758 belonging to one Manivannam (who hired car to the defacto complainant) was lost and when he was in search of the alleged vehicle, it came to know light that the vehicle was in possession of the petitioner. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a purchaser of the car and he has not stolen the car. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioner had purchased the stolen car and the vehicle is yet to be recovered. He further submits that the investigation is not yet completed. Hence he vehemently opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts of the case and the vehicle in question is yet to be recovered , this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
