ORDER
This writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2025.
2. Upon hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perusing the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the case of the petitioner is that, by fraud that was practiced on him, several amounts were obtained from him while being part of a Telegram ID group. Therefore, the petitioner transferred various amounts on different dates. Now, the petitioner has made a representation to the bankers to recover the same.
3. I am of the view that if the petitioner has lost money due to cyber fraud or any other criminal offence, he has to approach the jurisdictional 3/5
police. Depending on the investigation, the petitioner has to take appropriate steps, including making a claim against the bankers or individual parties, as the case may be. Reserving the liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition, filed only for considering the representation, cannot be entertained.
4. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 30.04.2025 nsl 4/5
