This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 01.04.2016 in CSR No.243 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.243 of 2016 before the respondent-Police.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry and the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously or close the case under intimation to the petitioner.
