ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.08.2020 and act in accordance with law.

The case of the petitioner is that he is a recorded cultivating tenant with regard to the subject property. According to the petitioner, the officials belonging to the respondent are attempting to lay a road and the agricultural lands of the petitioner is sought to encroached upon. The petitioner therefore made a representation to the respondent on 05.08.2020 in this regard. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and MR.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader for the respondent.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.08.2020 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law. The respondent shall intimate to the petitioner as to whether any steps are being taken to acquire the property or to lay a road in the property of the petitioner. The response shall be given by the respondent to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with copy of the representation dated 05.08.2020 and copy of all the other relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
