ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard.

2. These applications have been filed by the applicants to implead them as party respondents in the writ petition.

3. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the applicants submitted that the issues raised in the writ petition have direct

implications on the operations of petroleum retail outlets run by the applicants herein and, therefore, they are necessary parties to the writ petition.

4. Looking into the prayer sought for in the writ petition and for the reasons stated in the affidavits filed in support of the applications, we are of the view that the applicants are necessary parties to the writ petition for proper adjudication.

5. Accordingly, these applications are allowed. The applicants are impleaded as respondents 4 to 6 in the writ petition. The Registry is directed to carryout necessary amendment in the cause-title.
