ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the claim of the petitioners for appointment as Librarian Grade III in the existing vacancies in and around Chennai under the Direct Recruitment Quota forthwith and to extend all benefits.
2.However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, the prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
However, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioners may be given liberty to approach the authority concerned with fresh representation, for which, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court permits the petitioners to submit a fresh representation enclosing all the required documents, along with a copy of this order to the respondents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter. 4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
