(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Placing reliance upon the news paper report, the petitioner herein has come forward to file this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to take effective steps and appropriate measures to control the spread of corona virus.

2.This writ petition has been filed on 26.08.2020 placing reliance upon the news paper report on 06.08.2020. 3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that steps are being taken continuously towards controlling and eradicating the corona virus. 4.This Court can neither issue a mandamus as sought for nor monitor and supervise the steps that are being taken by acting as an Appellate Authority. The prayer sought for is too vague, that too, based upon the news paper report. Accordingly, recording the statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
