A.No.2621 of 2024 in C.S.Dr.No.115466 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

This application has been filed seeking leave to institute the suit within the jurisdiction of this Court taking advantage of Clause 12 of the Letters Patent.

2.It is stated that the defendant is a college at Kanyakumari District, but a former Judge of this Court, Justice A.Ramamurthy had been appointed as Administrator. It is stated that the plaintiff is at Chennai and the plaintiff is also a Society/Sangam at Chennai. It is stated that substantial cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of this Court.

3.Taking all the factors into consideration, leave is granted.

Accordingly, this application stands allowed. The Registry may proceed to number the plaint if it is otherwise in order and particularly, also examining whether necessary Court fee has been paid.
