ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Rajarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4, Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 5 & 6 and Ms.S.Ponnarasi, learned counsel for respondent 7.

2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that survey has been conducted and encroachments have been found in S.Nos.635/9 part, 635/9/1 and 635/9/9. It is found that water body has been encroached by these persons. It is further submitted by learned State Government Pleader that immediate action would be taken, in accordance with law, to clear the encroachments on the water body.

3. In view of the said statement, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. The writ petition, as such, stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.13593 of 2023 is closed.
