The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 3rd respondent / the Chennai Metro Rail Limited furnished a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding between the petitioner and the respondents for usage of private lands for Chennai Metro Rail project. Based on the Memorandum of Understanding dated 24.09.2021, the Chennai Metro Rail is paying charges.

2. This being the factum, the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition lost its relevance and thus, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
