Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to (i) To grant the petitioner Extension of time for compliance of the order passed by this Honorable court passed in Crl.OP.Nos.17080 & 17082 of 2020 dated 27.04.2021 pass such necessary orders as this Honble court may deem fit in the circumstances of the case. [CRL.M.P.NO.6961 & 6962/2021 IN CRL.O.P.NO.17080 & 17082/2021] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.ADINARAYANA RAO, Advocate for the petitioner, [IN BOTH THE PETITIONS] and of M/S.C.E.PRATAP, Govt. Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, [IN BOTH THE PETITIONS] the court made the following order:- The petitioners have filed these petitions seeking to grant extension of time for compliance of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.Nos.17080 and 17082 of 2020 respectively, dated 27.04.2021.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that earlier, the petitioners were enlarged on bail based on the memorandum of understanding dated 01.03.2019, as per which, the petitioners agreed to pay a sum of Rs.2 Crore to the defacto

complainant. Thereafter, the petitioners paid only a portion of the amount out of Rs.2 Crore and did not comply with fully. Thereby, the defacto complainant filed petitions seeking cancellation of bail before this Court. This Court vide order dated 27.04.2021 directed the petitioners to comply with the condition within a reasonable time. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners filed SLP before the Hon'ble Apex Court and the same was dismissed directing the petitioners to approach this Court for appropriate relief. Hence, these petitions have been filed.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners further submitted that as per the memorandum of understanding, the petitioners are yet to pay a sum of Rs.1 Crore and 44 Lakhs to the defacto complainant and they are taking steps to sell their property for paying the amount and hence, this Court may grant extension of time for compliance of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.Nos.17080 and 17082 of 2020 respectively, dated 27.04.2021. 4.Heard the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, time till 03.10.2021 is granted to the petitioners to comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.Nos.17080 and 17082 of 2020 respectively, dated 27.04.2021.

6.Post the matter on 03.10.2021 'for reporting compliance'. -sd/- 20/07/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
