O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 23.03.2023 made in W.P.No.9020 of 2023. 2.The petitioner is a Company registered under the Companies Act and is a registered contractor in the Department of Public Works. The petitioner Company submitted their tender to carry out the work of repair and renovation to Semen Bank Building for the Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding at Madras Veterinary College and the tender inviting Authority accepted the petitioner's tender with a condition that the petitioner has to complete the entire work within three months. Since the work was not completed within the stipulated time for various reasons, the contract was terminated. Hence, the petitioner filed W.P.No.9020 of 2023.

3.This Court vide order dated 23.03.2023 made in W.P.No. 9020 of 2023 issued direction to the respondents therein to withdraw the termination order and to allow the petitioner to work and directed the petitioner to complete the entire work within a period of one month. Though the petitioner intended to complete the work, the 2/4

respondents did not cooperate for the same. Hence the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

4.It is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that during the pendancy of this contempt petition, the respondents terminated the petitioner's contract. 5.The submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is recorded. There is no willful disobedience and this Contempt Petition is closed.
