By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner would state that he is a physically challenged (otherwise abled) person suffering 60% disability (Scoliosis) and he belongs to Scheduled Caste community. He would further state that he has also obtained his Doctorate in Chemistry and is now working as a Temporary Teaching Fellow (Full Time) in the Department of Chemistry, Anna University and University College of Engineering, Ramanathapuram, and he, in response to the advertisement dated 7.1.2014, has applied for the post of Assistant Professor under the person with disability quota and was called for written test and he wrote it on 13.10.2014, and also attended the personal interview and thereafter, he has not been communicated with the result of the same and in this regard, has submitted a representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

13.7.2015, for which, he is yet to be favoured with any response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.M.Vijayakumar, learned Standing Counsel, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent and on instructions, would submit that the quota is reserved for persons with disability (Ortho) and since the petitioner does not fall within the said category and the performance of the candidates, who had participated in that category, is also not upto the mark, no selection has been made in respect of filling up of the post of Assistant Professor in that quota.

4.However, this Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.7.2015, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
