By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner was initially appointed as Record Clerk during the year 1978 and was posted as Typist on 14.07.1997. The petitioner was reverted to the post and challenging the same, he filed O.A.No.9924 of 1999 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal and on abortion of the Tribunal, it was transferred to this Court and it was re-numbered as W.P.No.45221 of 2006. The petitioner retired from service as Typist during the pendency of the said writ petition and vide order dated 15.09.2009, this Court has allowed the said writ petition. The respondents in compliance of the order has granted scale of pay of the Typist to the petitioner on 18.02.2011 and however, failed to confer him with consequential benefits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The petitioner in this regard, has submitted numerous representations praying for notional promotion to the post of Assistant and confer him with consequential benefits for the reason that in the interregnum some of his juniors were promoted as Assistants and last of such representation was made on 20.04.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.
4.Heard the submissions of Mr.T.N.Sugesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Rajendra Prasad, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.
5.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
