Ms. T. Girija, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice for the first respondent. Mr. L.P. Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for the second respondent. With consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself. The petitioner, having been appointed as Salesman on 26.09.1998 at Ariyamundy PDS shop, came to be promoted as Junior Clerk in the second respondent society on 30.05.2016. His grievance is that the respondents have not paid him the increased salary in tune with the promotional post and hence, he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has addressed a representation dated 23.03.2017 to the respondents seeking disbursement of differential salary amount for the promotional post of Junior Clerk. Since the said representation still remains unconsidered, the present writ petition has been preferred.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent sought four weeks time to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's pending representation dated 23.03.2017. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Costs made easy.
