This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.198 of 2007, pending on the file of the first respondent/Inspector of Police, Perundurai, Erode.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that in this case, investigation has been completed and charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai and the case was taken cognizance by the learned Magistrate and numbered as C.C.No.115 of 2013. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In view of the subsequent development and submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), I do not find that any fruitful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
