Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.04.2022 and initiate the proceedings under Section 145 of Criminal Procedure Code as per the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.26055 of 2019, dated 16.10.2020.

ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction, directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Guindy to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.04.2022 and initiate the proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C. as per the order of this Court dated 16.10.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.26055 of 2019 expeditiously. 2.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that, in the earlier order dated 16.10.2022, this Court had directed the Revenue Divisional Officer, Guindy to complete the enquiry within a period of two months, however, due https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to pandemic situation, the same could not be done. Accordingly, the learned counsel now seeks a fresh direction to be issued to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Guindy to complete the proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C at the earliest. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the proceedings u/s.145 Cr.P.C., is yet to be initiated by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Guindy and appropriate direction may be issued to expedite the same. 4.In such view of the matter, the Revenue Divisional Officer, the 1st respondent herein is directed to complete his enquiry proceedings, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
