There is no representation for the petitioner. 2.

After sending representation on 27.11.2023 seeking police protection, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., alleging that the police has failed to give protection as per the his representation.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that on receipt of the representation dated 27.11.2023 through post, the petitioner was summoned for enquiry to find out whether there is any real threat. The petitioner failed to appear for enquiry. Therefore, the police could not proceed further on the representation of the petitioner.

Taking note of the above fact, this Criminal Original Petition 2/4

is dismissed as devoid of merits.
