O R D E R

The petitioner challenges the order dated 28.3.2013, whereby and whereunder, she was placed under suspension on account of pendency of a criminal case registered by the police in Crime No.1568 of 2012, on the file of Inspector of Police, T-10, Thirumullaivoyal Police Station, Chennai. The petitioner is also an accused in the said case. She was arrested by the Police on 7.2.2013 and thereafter, enlarged on bail on 25.2.2013.

2. The respondent having been found that the petitioner is involved in criminal case, suspended her from service on 28.3.2013.

3. The petitioner now seeks a direction to the respondent to cancel the order of suspension and permit her to join duty.

4. The question as to whether the suspension order should be reviewed and the petitioner should be permitted to join duty are essentially issues to be considered by the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The petitioner is given liberty to submit a representation to the respondent for the purpose of reviewing the order of suspension . In case, any such representation is given, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the respondent on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of representation.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, the connected M.P.Nos.1 and 2 of 2014 are closed. No costs.
