The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.21504 of 2023 dated 22.09.2023.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted an affidavit filed by the respondent and the relevant paragraph is extracted hereunder:
"7.It is submitted that after completion of detailed investigation, the then Inspector of Police has altered the section of this case into U/s.176, 201 IPC and filed the absconding charge sheet vide E-filing No.LTN 20230000451C202400043 on 22.01.2024 against the accused persons A1 to A7 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Erode and the same was yet to be taken on file."
3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Erode, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent in Crime No.351 of 2022 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This Contempt Petition is disposed of with the above directions. 12.08.2024 krk Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No : Yes / No 2/3
