ORDER

Status report filed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Anna Nagar Range, West Zone, Chennai indicating the actions taken on the complaint given by the petitioner herein.

2. The detailed report indicates that the police is proceeding on the right direction by collecting evidence and recording statement and witnesses and the Assistant Commissioner of Police also ensured in the Status Report that after change of Investigating Officer, investigation is conducted in a fair and free manner with utmost impartiality ensuring that all the parties involved and treated fairly and justly.

3. This Court is satisfied that after change of Investigating Officer, 2/4

the complaint of the petitioner has been monitored by the Assistant Commissioner of Police. The investigation has been conducted in a free and fair manner.

4. Recording the status report filed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
