The petitioner is the defendant in O.S.No.28 of 2013 on the file of Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu. It is a suit for recovery of money.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Transfer C.M.P. to withdraw O.S.No.28 of 2013 from the file of Principal District Court, Chennai and to transfer the same to the District and Sessions Court, Kancheepuram.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent is a practising Advocate at Chengalpattu and hence, he apprehends that the respondent would cause hindrance for the conduct of trial.
4. I am not inclined to agree with the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Just because, the respondent is an Advocate, practising at Chengalpattu, the same cannot be a ground to seek transfer.

5. I do not find any merit in this petition. Hence, this Transfer CMP stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
