Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 22.04.2021 in No.112/BCDFGISSSV/2021 against the petitioner's son viz., Vijay, aged about 24 years, S/o.Siva, who is confined at the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and to set aside the same and consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in No.112/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 22.04.2021, detaining her son as "GOONDA" under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2658, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 14.06.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the said Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
