The petitioner herein is the second respondent in M.A.C.T.O.P.No.145 of 2014 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal cum Subordinate Court, Chidambaram. The respondents 1 to 3 herein are the legal heirs of the deceased person, who died in the road accident. The claimants filed a case at Chidambaram. Now, the second respondent in M.A.C.T.O.P.No.145 of 2014 has filed the present transfer petition to transfer the case to a competent Court at Thiruppur.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The MACTOP cases are to be tried at the place where the claimants reside. The claimants are admittedly not residing at Thiruppur. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Therefore, the second respondent in M.A.C.T.O.P. No.145 of 2014 could not seek for transfer of the case from Chidambaram to Thiruppur without any basis. Hence, the present transfer petition is dismissed. No costs.
