The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint given by the petitioner on 17.06.2020 and CSR dated 25.07.2020.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, the respondent police registered the case in CSR No.311 of 2020 and conducted detailed enquiry and the same was closed on 25.07.2020 itself. Therefore, as of now, no complaint is pending on the file of the respondent police. Hence the petition is devoid of merits.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a private complaint, in the manner known to law.
